BTSS members and families enjoyed a heartfelt Christmas gathering after our regular monthly SGM
One of the highlights of the party was the lucky draw. And our lucky star winner is little Jordan.
BTSS was thrilled and grateful to meet with volunteers from Morgan Stanley for the annual Kris Kringle Santa Blessings event! Our BTSS kids was very excited when choosing their presents with the help from the MS Volunteer at Toys R Us, VivoCity. We ended the event with a sit down meal where the kids and their Santa blessings sponsors mingled as we feasted. A blessed Christmas to everyone!
We exceeded our target of 250 km and contributed 400km to IBTA Walk Around the World for Brain Tumour Awareness Week 2023!!!
86 incredible walkers collectively achieved in raising $21,730; wit the fundraising target of $50k.
BTSS Family had an incredible day at the annual pet therapy event! The power of furry companionship was truly felt by all on 14 Oct 2023 (Saturday) at Trio Building Inspired Arts. Pet therapy has shown to improve patient satisfaction, energy levels, and self-esteem as well as decrease depression.
We are grateful for this opportunity to meet our wonderful BTSS volunteers who dedicate their time, energy, and creativity to BTSS. Thank you for growing with us and creating a positive impact in our beneficiaries’ and caregivers’ lives. The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.
In BTSS, you never walk alone in your journey with brain tumor. And we mean this literally too when a community of 11 patients and caregivers gathered in the early morning of 26 August at Rifle Range. It didn’t matter that some of us had more difficulties walking, we kept pace and enjoyed the nature and cool weather before happily enjoying a sumptuous breakfast together.
For a day of wellness on 29 July 2023, BTSS members made our way to enjoy an amazing experience at The Van Gogh Experience. We were fascinated by the well-designed exhibition which featured an excellent display of famous artworks coupled with the use of modern lights and projection technologies to create a true 360-degree digital art experience.
BTSS little master chefs attended a fun and interactive baking workshop, making delicious homemade pizza and vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting.
We are deeply grateful to Morgan Stanley and their volunteers for sponsoring this wonderful baking workshop and patiently guiding the kids throughout the baking process.
This has to be the most memorable Founder’s Day! A busload of 37 BTSS friends crossed the causeway to spend a day celebrating life and the establishment of BTSS. Conversations flowed beyond brain tumours and treatments as we embarked on new experiences together in lovely laid-back settings. Indeed, new friendships and happy memories were formed with a renewed determination to stay in touch. We are already looking forward to our 10th BTSS Founder’s Day… How about Desaru next?
